• Women in our society have certain expectations and predictable desires because of how media portrays women's feelings, in particularly in regards to weddings.

• Bridal magazines map out how a wedding is "supposed" to be. (pg 62)
• Even children's books portray how weddings are supposed to be and these predetermined drawings remain in the minds of the readers. (pg 62)
• Bridal magazines have many articles on what women want as if to place the reader in that category and structures how a wedding needs to be. (pg 62)
